School Bus Shortage

Kaduna polytechnic as a large polytechnic in Nigeria with four campuses in Kaduna, with a large number of students in different department is facing insufficient school bus challenge to convey the students from one campus to another

Looking at the number of students, the school bus available now cannot convey the students hoping for its service. The students complained that even though the ticket fee was increased this semester from #50 to #100, the management in charge of transportation in kaduna polytechnic still failed to provide a proper transportation arrangement to convey them all.

According to Kauna Hilda John, HND2 student of Food Science and Technology said that the bus service given to the student is very poor especially to those coming from sabo to tudun wada campus due to their large number. She added that students face alot of challenge of dragging which lead to tearing of clothes and leaving some injured. Therefore she advice the school management to look into the situation and provide a better service for the students so to ease the stress
